Rats! A Year of 'Em!

And so they scamper, released by the zodiac calendar. Disney's Mickey finds the perfect excuse to scuttle onto any sort of packaging, apparel and memorabilia for this new lunar year.

You could say I have been doing the same (i.e. scampering) since my last entry (embarrassingly posted last year). It was a Christmas season like no other, but I'm not complaining. It was so fulfilling, CD launch, gigs a plenty and just carolling like crazy.

Then came the helter skelter to vacate our temporary abode at Braddell View last month (where we've been putting up since Sept 2007) and head back to my in-law's (where we'll be living till April/May 2008). Last month, we bought an apartment in an opposition ward. The paper work, legal stuff and what-not will be completed by the end of next month. Then it's another thing to start furnishing and fitting the nest before moving again. Your housewarming invitation will arrive in due course. :o)

Most recently, I was in 3 countries (HK, China & M'sia) over 2 consecutive weekends for a company retreat and Agapella's retreat to Cameron Highlands. Had never driven beyond Ipoh, so it was my farthest and fastest drive yet. Thank God for safety in travel.

Happy Lunar New Year...my nephews and nieces got richer this year since we joined fellow 'uncles' and 'aunties' in handing out angpows. Albeit a poorer new year, it's been a refreshing blessing to give than receive after all these years.

Will try to be more disciplined and regular in providing updates on this blog. I guess it doesn't help that I don't have/use a computer where I'm staying. But you bet I'll be connected to the Internet and Cable TV when I move in to the new place.
